The Warren Astronomical Society's place in Michigan
The Society emphasizes volunteerism and public outreach. In addition to volunteering for events like the "Astronomy on the Beach" star party at Kensington Metropark, our members (who live all over the Detroit area) are happy to give talks to schools and other groups young and old. If you'd be interested in having a club member talk to your group (whether in the classroom or in the field), please contact us.

The Society communicates online via the WarrenAstro Yahoo! Group. If you want to receive notifications about club and general astronomical events, please join the group. We also use a Meetup group to communicate about upcoming events.
