Membership and Annual Dues
Looking to join a club in the Metro Detroit area? The Warren Astronomical Society offers a wealth of knowledge and experience,
an extensive library and telescope collection, an observatory complex and observing site, and exclusive access to some of the best
star parties in Michigan.
But it's the members who really make the WAS what it is: they are always helpful, interested, and excited
about everything astronomical. Whatever your interests or experience level, if you are interested in astronomy, spaceflight, astrophysics,
and cosmology, there is something in the WAS for you!

Membership Types
As of January 4, 2010, our membership year runs from January 1 to December 31 each year.
If joining for the first time after July 1, you will be enrolled until December 31 of the following year.
